Bennett's birthday was more of a marathon than a sprint this year. He was so lucky to have Vivi, Grammy and Papaw Fred come in town to celebrate. On his actual birthday we opened presents and had ice cream cake...
When Grammy and Papaw Fred arrived, we went to a favorite restaurant that overlooks the Fishermans' Terminal and he got an ice cream sundae.
When the weekend rolled around, he had dance lessons and then we headed downtown. We rode the monorail:
Had lunch at the Armory:
Went in the MoPop (Museum of Popular Culture):
And killed some time on the playground outside. It looked pretty intimidating to send Bennett up into it alone so both Michael and I took our turns contorting ourselves to fit up in there.
We met up with our friends and rode the monorail back to the city center.
And had dinner at one of Bennett's (and all of ours, really) favorites: Din Tai Fung!
Happy 4th Birthday, Bennett!
