We had a really lovely holiday here at home with my 'in-loves' in town. But before I get to that, let me catch up on a few other photos.
First, the holiday program at the kids' school.
This was June's last year at the preschool since she'll be in Kindergarten next year! It was also Bennett's first year in the program since he was in the baby room last year and they don't go up on stage.
I really thought that Bennett wouldn't tolerate being up on stage (especially since we got great seats and he would likely see me there) but he did! He sat on his teacher's lap and stared out into the crowd while the teachers tried to encourage the kids to shake their bells to "Jingle Bells." He was so cute in his reindeer shirt!
We watched the middle-aged kids sing their songs, then it was time for June and her class. They sang "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" and "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel." They were so great. I was just really proud of how confident the kids were, standing up tall and singing loudly, remembering all the words.
Afterward there were some treats, some chatting with friends, and the kids ended up back on stage running around and acting wild.
It was expected of June, but then Bennett got up there in the middle of all the big kids!
June, pretending to be a dog, which is her favorite thing to do. (Any tips on best patches to buy and attach to leggings? Because we're going through the knees of leggings like water over here.)
