I Blinked and June is One

Somehow over night, this...

...turned into this...
Happy first birthday to my beautiful, smart, sweet and funny baby girl. I hope that no matter how many of these birthdays come and go, you'll always be my Baby June. I love you little one.

  1. JUUUUUUNNNNNNEEEEE!!!! you're one!! as someone older and wiser, I feel I need to give you some widsom and advice. this next year, make sure you ONLY drive in the car carts at the grocery store. if not, make your parents shopping trip ABSOLUTE TORTURE. they'll learn. also, learn to do a cheesy smile....adults are putty in your hands after that. if you could learn to wink, that would be even better. when it's time to go to bed at night, if you make faces in the mirror while your parents brush your teeth, they keep laughing and you'll get at least another ten minutes before you have to hit the crib. they totally forget what they're supposed to be doing.

now, as for whining. take it slow. don't get all excited that when you first start doing it mom and dad go nuts to give you whatever you want and go overboard, or else pretty soon they'll know you're faking and just ignore you. oh if someone would have just let me in on that little secret.

potty training is a breeze. but take your time, just going in your diaper is so much easier and you can play a lot longer if you don't have to run to the potty.

that's it for now, just call or text or facebook me sometime if you need any more tips.

    much love,
