DIY Handwarmers

I whipped these up in less than an hour while I carried the Junebug in our Ergo carrier.

I cut rectangles from a sheet of felt and sewed most of the way around. Next, I poured in some regular brown rice. Sewed up the rest and voila!
Put these in the microwave for 30 seconds and they stay warm up for up to one hour!

I was thinking that we could bring these to Indianapolis this Christmas and help keep June warm. Maybe put them around her in the car seat. (Don't worry - with clothes in between to keep her from getting too much heat from them. They don't get that hot anyway.)
